Well, this thing is incredible!
While this is not our dog, I am sure that this much hair and more has already come off of him. We had heard good reviews of this thing, and while the price tag was a bit scary ($50!!!), we decided to take the plunge. It has already proved itself to be worth the money. The thing took an incredibly disgusting amount of hair off of Duke. Luckily, we had the foresight to go and brush him at a park, where we didn't have to worry about all the hair getting all over our stuff.
His coat already looks a ton better, and I am sure it can only improve.
I'm not usually this enamored of gadgets and stuff, but this thing is awesome.

I think we need a before/after pic.
He actually seemed to love it. And I was too lazy to take a "before" picture, and without that, an "after" picture would seem to be pretty pointless.
Eric's sister used the furminator in the Spring for her lab and it was amazing (and kinda fun for us too)! Apparently it's what groomers use to keep the fur down. Can you imagine all that hair in your house or in the pool?!!!! Yuck.
